Supporting Students For Years To Come
The Parents Fund is a scholarship fund supported by the parents of current and past C of I students. As is the case with most private colleges, tuition only covers about 36% of the total expenses of the institution, the rest must come from private support such as alumni, friends and parents. Students and their families rely on outside scholarships to help supplement their financial aid. We rely on unrestricted donations and non-tuition income to fund over 64% of our operating budget, allowing The C of I to maintain the highest standards of academic and extracurricular excellence.
Every portion of your dollar goes toward the ongoing yearly scholarship needs of the College. Through your support, you allow us to expand scholarships to continue attracting the best and brightest students from around the world. From top-notch facilities and exceptional faculty to unique learning opportunities, we are proud to collaborate with you to provide your student with the resources and tools necessary to take on the future.
At The College of Idaho, we take pride in offering exceptional experiences to our students and these current students rely on the Parents Fund to provide and enhance their education. Scholarships, highly qualified professors and an idyllic campus are all aspects that wouldn’t be possible without your investment. Corporations and foundations often look to the other areas of private support, such as parent contributions, when determining the level at which they will support the College. Your contribution can spur additional donations from outside sources.
